Robert Hedelund, Commanding General, Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic and Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command, kicks off a Navy and Marine Corps staff planning tabletop exercise along with Navy flag counterparts at Naval Warfare Development Command on Aug. 5, 2020. The exercise, part of a long-term integrated training continuum, challenged the Navy and Marine Corps team to develop integrated maritime fires and effects elements with a focus on increasing lethality for the future naval fight.
