Master Gunnery Sergeant (retired) Jimmy Hargove of the Montford Point Marines Association looks over one of the displays at the dedication ceremony for the new Montford Point Marines Memorial wall at the Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit aboard Naval Air Station Oceana, Va 21 February, 2014. The memorial wall is dedicated to the service of the Montford Point Marines who in 1941 were the first African Americans to join the U.S. Marine Corps.
