Colonel Paul P. Ryan, the commanding officer of Headquarters and Service Battalion, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command, leads nearly 40 Marines and sailors Marines during a beach hike at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Virginia Beach, Va., April 8. The hike was intended to train the Marines tactically and to build unit morale.
