U.S. Navy Chief Eric Waters, a quarter master with Detachment 1, Assault Craft Unit FOUR, speaks to Marines and Sailors with U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command during a tour of the Landing Craft, Air Cushion March 29, 2019, aboard Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The tour was an opportunity for the Marines and Sailors to learn more about the craft and see it first-hand. An LCAC is an air cushion vehicle for transporting personnel, weapons, equipment, and cargo of the assault elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force from ship-to-shore.
