U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Michael J. Pritchard, the command sergeant major of Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic (FMFLANT), Marine Forces Command (MARFORCOM), Marine Forces Northern Command (MARFOR NORTHCOM), and U.S. Navy Master Chief Jeffery A. Barnes, the command master chief of FMFLANT, MARFORCOM, MARFOR NORTHCOM, observe the hull of the USS San Antonio (LPD 17) during a scheduled tour at Marine Hydraulics International, Virginia, June 17, 2022. The USS San Antonio is moored at Marine Hydraulics International after a successful deployment for ship upgrades and repairs. The tour aboard the USS San Antonio allowed higher echelon leadership a better understanding of ship capabilities, personnel well-being and lethality of joint force operations.
