FMFLANT, MARFORCOM, MARFOR NORTHCOM bids Fair Winds and Following Seas to Col. Robert S. Morgan as he retired today at the Sewell's Point Golf Course, Norfolk, Virginia. Morgan enlisted in 1987 and participated is Operations DESERT SHIELD and DESERT STORM. He commissioned May 1993 and now retires as the acting Chief of Staff of FMFLANT, MARFORCOM, MARFOR NORTHCOM a U.S. Marine Corps Colonel. He received the Legion of Merit, Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and many more during his 34 years of faithful service. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
