U.S. Marines from various commands and units gather for the 33rd annual Joint Women’s Leadership Symposium (JWLS) at Norfolk Waterside Marriott, Norfolk, Virginia, July 12, 2022. The Marines engaged in open question forums about Talent Management 2030, Force Design 2030, retention and various other categories contributing toward professional development. The Sea Service Leadership Association hosts the JWLS and is a non-profit organization that encourages personnel improvement through networking, education, and mentorship of women from all three maritime armed forces – the United States Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard.
