U.S. Marines conduct a relief and appointment ceremony at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Nov. 9, 2021. During the ceremony, Sgt. Maj. Michael D. Martinet was relieved and Sgt. Maj. Patrick E. Fay was appointed as the sergeant major of Combat Logistics Regiment 27. The ceremony symbolizes the passing of trust and confidence from the outgoing sergeant major to the incoming sergeant major.
