Yorktown, Va. (Dec. 3, 2013) - Maj. David McCombs, a staff ride action officer, Headquarters and Service Battalion, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Command, shows and explains the gear sharpshooters and infantrymen would have used at the siege of Yorktown to the Marines and Sailors of MARFORCOM. Because McCombs is a Revolutionary War reenactor, he was able to dress up as a sharpshooter and show the Marines what they would have looked like, and why.
