The Great East Japan earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster memorial sits on display before the start of the 5the Kesennuma City memorial ceremony March 11 in Kesennuma City. The memorial commemorates those lost and missing from the disaster which took place over five years ago. Col. Roger J. McFadden represented Marine Forces Japan who responded to the disaster as a part of Operation Tomodachi.
