MOYOCK, N. C. - U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. John. J. Schaffer, a student in the Marine Corps Security Cooperation Group Marine Advisor Course, fires an SVD, known as the Dragunov, during foreign weapons training in Moyock, North Carolina, Sept. 17, 2019. The range focuses on common foreign security force weapon systems that Marines are likely to encounter when they interact with foreign security forces. It allows them to experience stoppages or malfunctions, and learn how to fix or clear the weapons. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Danielle Prentice)
