Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 261 landed a MV-22 Osprey onto a Dutch warship during an interoperability test conducted near Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C., June 12, 2015. The landing aboard the Karel Doorman, a warship with the Royal Netherlands Navy was the first MV-22 Osprey landing onto a Dutch ship. This test allowed the two units to assess their capabilities and their ability to integrate the two units.
