The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory partnered with 10th Marine Regiment, 1st Battalion, 10th Marines, and 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment to conduct a limited objective experiment at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Dec. 3-11. The experiment was designed to test different tactics, including simulated indirect and direct fire missions, when integrating an artillery platoon within an infantry company landing team.

U.S. Marines with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted training as part of program Nimble Elder, on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, April 21-25, 2025. The Nimble Elder program provides the 22nd MEU with organic, scalable counter-weapons of mass destruction capabilities. This specialized training equips them to respond to such threats, enabling rapid deployment and adaptability in support of Geographic Combatant Commanders' security cooperation efforts and crisis response.
